【Uganda Newsletters】The Ugandan government implements 19 million USD electricity network project

Uganda's 'New Vision Newspaper' reported that the Ugandan government will implement 13 million U.S. dollars in power grid projects through 13 eastern regions.This project is loaned by the Islamic Development Bank. President Museveni said the project will be completed within 18 months and called for residents along the route to make specific plans to make full use of the electricity to generate revenue and get rid of poverty. In addition, the Uganda government obtained loans from the African Development Bank to develop electricity in other areas.
