Uganda's 'New Vision Newspaper' reported that at a dinner recently held in the business sector, President Museveni said that the Ugandan business community should support the production of domestic products to promote exports. He emphasized that this can increase supplies and create more jobs. To achieve this goal, business practitioners must change the old ways and apply more modern enterprise technology. He said the government will expand the road construction to reduce transportation cost and establish hydropower stations to increase electricity supply, more regional markets will also be built to reduce the cost of national business operations.
